New work: Mediterranean Shades of Teal
I know I’ve said it before, but the colors of the Mediterranean amazed me every single day I was there. They were never the same, always shifting, and always stunning.
I photographed these ombré shades of teal, blue, cyan, turquoise, aquamarine, and mint green looking down from the Basse Corniche, the lowest of the three cliff roads that hug the coastline from Nice to Menton. As I mentioned in the Côte d’Azur: The Mediterranean From Above post, I walked the road from Villefranche-sur-Mer to Cap d’Ail on a gorgeous day in June. It took me about 5 hours, and I found countless treasures along the way. I’ve written more about that walk in this blog post: Walking France: Villefranche-sur-Mer to Cap d’Ail.
This is a short series of 3 prints, and even though it is called teal, I let a shades of green be part of it. It was just too good of a fit 🙂 .
The prints come framed or unframed, and you can also get them as metal or acrylic glass prints.
